Hi everyone! Are you getting in the Christmas mood yet? I know I am! How about a shaker card with a very cute Christmas Angel from Rachelle Anne Miller Stamps?
For this card, I used the angel image from the Christmas Ornaments digital stamp. I colored her with Copic markers. These are the Copic colour combinations:
- Skin: BV00, E53, E00, E000, E0000
- Blush: R32, R30
- Hair: YR24, Y35, Y32 (first layer) and E42, E41, E40 (second layer)
- Dress and shoes: RV34, RV32, R81, R00
- Wings: R00
- Candle: R37, R35, Y35, Y32
I continued with making the frame for may shaker card. I diecut the frame 2 times out of white cardstock, and I glued them on top of each other.
I created the background using 3 different shades of pink distress oxide ink: Victorian Velvet, Worn Lipstick and Tattered Rose. I started with the Victorian Velvet on the bottem, applied Worn Lipstick above it and ended with the Tattered Rose. I didn't applie the Tattered Rose on the top of my panel, I kept that white.
I splattered the panel with water, dried it with a piece of paper towel, and splattered it with white acrylic paint.
While that was drying, I glued a piece of acetate on the back of my frame, and I glued my sweet angel image and a stamped Christmas sentiment on top of it (on the right side).
I put foam tape on the back of the frame, to create some dimension. That way the shaker elements will have enough room to move around in the card.
I glued my background on a white cardbase, and I put it in my stamping aid. That way I can glue the frame perfecty alligned on my card. I put my shaker elements on my card.
Final step: removing the paper back from the foam tape and glueing the frame on the card.
I really enjoyed creating this card! I hope you like it!
I will post a reel of how I created this card on my Instagram really soon. So stay tuned!
