Peace on earth

Hi everyone! We are celebrating a new release today! Rachelle Anne Miller has created a new beautiful Christmas collection, containing 4 digital images and a digital paper pack. Be sure to check out the website. The Design Team has created some stunning cards! This is the card I made:

The image I used to create this card is the Peace Angel digital stamp. I love the swirly string of stars! I kept my design very clean and simple, because I wanted the stars to be the eyecatchers of my card.

I printed my image, and cut it out using a rectangle die from my stash. I coloured my image using Copic markers. These are the combinations I used:

  • Dress and headband: B12, B01, B00, B000, B0000
  • Hair: E44, E43, E42, E41, E40
  • Skin: BV00, E53, E00, E000, E0000
  • Blush: R32, R30

Next it was time to create some shimmering stars. I coloured them with a golden alcohol marker from Nuvo (506, Gold Mine). I wanted to make sure that if my glitters would come of the stars, there was no white showing through.

After that was done, I took my Sakura Quickie Glue pen, and started to applie glue over 4 stars. I poured some golden glitters over them, waited a for a minute and tapped the image clean on a piece of printer paper. And then I started all over again with the next 4 stars. I kept repeating the process until all the stars were covered in glitter.

I diecut an additional rectangle panel and glued it behind my panel with my image. The last step was gluing my image on a white base card.

I hope you like the result! I will be posting a short reel showing you the sparkling end result, because the card is more sparkly and pretty in real life!

Big hugs!

Tinne
