Hi everyone! Today I want to show you a gift tag that I made, featuring the Which Way Theo Penguin digital stamp from Polkadoodles.
I cut the tag out using a die from my stash. I just love tag dies! How about you?
I covered the edges and top with low tack tape, and applied some Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide ink. Heavy on the bottom, lighter when I went up. I splattered the tag with water, dried it, and splattered it with Lucky Clover Distress Oxide ink and white acrylic paint.
I also cut out a snow hill using a curved die (see first process photo above). I put some foam tape behind it and glued it on the tag.
I coloured the Which Way Theo Penguin digital stamp using the following Copic colour combinations:
- Scarfs and pole: R39, R37, R35
- Blush cheeks: R32, R30
- Penguins: W10, W8, W6, W4
- Shadows penguins: W1, W0, W00
- Shadow in the snow: G00, G0000
- Beak penguins: Y35, Y32
I put foam tape behind my image, and glued it on the tag.
As a finishing touch, I gave the tag a red and white ribbon and two little silver bells.
I hope you like it!
Be sure to check out my Instagram page. I shared a reel of how I coloured my image, and I will be sharing a reel of the creative process soon.
Big hugs,
Tinne
