Cold winter hugs

Hi everyone! For this week’s challenge from Polkadoodles, I created a very cute card, using the Snowman Bella Christmas Bear precoloured image. I totally fell in love with it when I saw it! 

I cut it out using my Silhouette Cameo. I cut out the HUGS letters using a die from my stash, and the beautiful dotted pattern paper from the Work & Play 10 – Paper Heaven 1 bundle. It matches the Bella Bear image perfectly! 

I also cut out two additional layers of the HUGS out of white scrap paper, to create some dimension. 

I inked a background using Speckled Egg Distress Oxide ink, and splattered it with water and white paint. 

I glued the HUGS letters on top of the background, together with the word BIG (it’s a part of a sentiment from the Winnie Daisy Greetings, Quotes and Sentiments bundle). 

I cut out a hill out of white cardstock (see photos above), and glued my Bella Bear image on it. 

I put some foam tape behind it, and glued it on my background, using my stamping tool to align it perfectly. 

And this is the result...
