Spring triptych

Hi everyone! I created a triptych out of gift tags, using the Garden Friends Scene Creator digital stamp from Rachelle Anne Miller. I love creating gift tags, and creating a scene with them was a fun thing to do.

These are the Copic combinations I used to colour the images and grass:
  • Bear, bunny and face hedgehog: E35, E34, E31, E30
  • Belly bear and bunny: E40
  • Hedgehog pines: E79, E77, E74, E71
  • Stone: N4, N3, N1
  • Grass: YG17, YG13, YG11
  • Blush: R32, R30
  • Flowers: R56, R85, R81, R01, Y35, Y13, YG17, YG13, YG11
  • Ladybug: R35, W8, W6
  • Basket: E42, E41, E40
  • Bird: Y35, R85, R01, R00, R000, R0000, E31, E30, Blender
I'll share with you how I created the label with the hedgehog. The others were made in a similar way.

I cut out a tag from one of the papers from the Holly Jolly Christmas digital paper pack. I cut out the back of the tag using white cardstock. I used my tag die and a grass die to create the grass border. I used a light green cardstock, and coloured it with green Copics (combination shared above).

I glued the white label behind the blue one, put foam tape behind the grass and glued it on the label. Next I put some liquid adhesive behind the hedgehog and bird, and glued them into place.

I diecut a cloud out of a piece of white scrap paper, and glued it on my label.

I used scissors to trim the clouds.

I heat embossed the sentiment on a black cardstock strip, and put foam tape behind it.

I glued it into place using my T-ruler. I always use a magnet to hold the tag or card into place while I'm doing this. This is my way to make sure I won't glue my sentiment in a crooked way.

All done! I also made a reel of how I created these tags, and I'll post it on my Instagram soon!

Feel free to leave a comment, I would love to hear your thoughts!

Big hug,

Tinne
