Happy birthday brave one!

Hi everyone! It's release day at Rachelle Anne Miller Stamps, and we're releasing a very cute collection of dragon stamps, in honour of the year of the dragon. There are 5 different images, one for each of the elements, and a new paper collection of course!

Here's the card I made with the Year of the Dragon - Metal stamp:

I started with printing and cutting out my image. I coloured everything using the following Copic combinations:

• BG18,BG15, BG13, BG11, BG10, BG09
• C3, C1, C00
• R32, R30
• Y23

I cut out a piece of white cardstock, the same size as my card base. I inked it with Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide ink. Next I sprinkled it with water, dried it, and sprinkled it with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink.

Once drie, I glued it on my white card base.

I cut a piece from one of the pattern papers from the Year of the Dragon paper pack, fitting the bottom of my card. I glued it in place using a liquid adhesive.

I created a cloud border out of white cardstock, using a cloud border die from my stash. I glued it above the pattern paper piece.

I cut a very thin strip of dark teal cardstock, and glued it below the cloud border, on the top of the pattern paper.

I trimmed the cloud border and thin strip with my siccors.

Next I put some foam tape behind my coloured images, and I glued them into place.

I also put some foam tape behind my heat embossed sentiment. I used my T-ruler to glue it into place.

And my card is ready!
