Hi everyone! I'm back with a very cute card using the 'A Swinging Summer' digital stamp from Rachelle Anne Miller Stamps!
I always start with printing and cutting out the digital stamp. These are the Copic combinations I used:
- T-shirt and flowers: RV69, RV66, RV63
- Pants: YG97, YG95, YG93
- Blush: R32, R30
- Skin: BV00, E53, E000
- Flowers and beak of the bird: Y35, Y32
- Hair and bird: E44, E43, E42, E41
- Tire: W8, W6, W4
First, I die cutted a piece of white cardstock with a rectangle stitched die. I inked it with Speckled Egg Distress Oxide ink. Heavy on the bottom, lighter when I went up. I inked it in a blotchy way, and I dind't ink the top of my panel.
I sprinkled the inked part with some water and dried it with a piece of kitchen paper. Next I sprinkled the panel with some of the Speckled Egg ink. I let the panel air dry.
To create the grass and tree, I die cutted some orange cardstock using grass and cloud border dies. I made sure that they would have the same stitching on the outside as my base panel has.
I started inking the grass and tree with Wild Honey, Rusty Hinge and Brushed Corduroy Distress Oxide inks, working from light to dark. I only inked the edges of my die cuts with the darkest color. I sprinkled the pieces with water and dried them. I also sprinkled them with the Wild Honey and Rusty Hinge Distress Oxide inks.
I glued the grass and tree pieces on my base panel with foam tape, using my stamping tool as a guide to align the edges perfectly.
I glued my base panel on a slightly bigger white base card. I stamped a sentiment with a stamp from my stash on a white sentiment strip, and put some foam tape behind the strip and the coloured images
I glued everything into place, and my card is ready! Isn't she cute?
A reel of how I created this card will soon be available on my Instagram page.
And don't forget, you can get a discount in the RAM webshop, using my code 'TINNEPEETERS'.
Have fun creating!
Big hugs,
Tinne
